This Is My “Why”

#CureForChristian

Why Luminate Gives

My dream is that every child battling cancer, along with their families, will have access to proven targeted therapies.

In July 2024, my 2-year-old nephew Christian was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing sarcoma—an aggressive form of bone cancer. Since then, I’ve witnessed heartbreak, miracles, strength beyond belief, and the power of community. But I’ve also seen the brutal reality: treatment options for kids are decades old, extremely toxic — and research is severely underfunded.

There is hope—like a promising vaccine being developed right now for Ewing sarcoma. But it’s not government-funded. It’s being championed by families who refuse to give up. Organizations like Little Warrior Foundation are funding clinical trials that researchers would otherwise not be able to run.

That’s why a portion of every Luminate project goes directly to pediatric cancer research. Because our children deserve BETTER options.

“The answers are out there, they are, we just need to tap into them further.”
